While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
End debate, cue left wing media lies that Obama won tonight.............
Terrific close.
Yup, McCain just won the whole evening with that last speech. It was beautiful.
He’s serious....very serious. Serious about his designs to destroy this nation.
McCain ended on a great note.
McCain’s last answer was strong and presented very well.
I’ve seen better at Goodwill, although I prefer the fine sales at Village Discount.
how DARE he! HOPE is the halfrican's airspace!!
Get inside the internals: Obama's trailing Kerry by 15% among Jews; trailing Kerry among Catholics; only getting about 83% of the Dem vote (McCain getting 90% of the GOP vote); he's trailing Kerry in suburban voters; in a key county like Montgomery in OH, he's running 2% behind where Kerry was; he's behind in white males, barely up in females, even in independents, and shocker of all, Obama has yet to MATCH Kerry in blacks!
That does not equal victory, especially when you factor in the electoral college. I give Obama almost no shot here in OH due to southeastern OH. As of two weeks ago, the Dem operatives there said they still couldn't convince people he wasn't a Muslim!
“Obama: I dont really know what I dont know, but I DO know that America is really a lousy place to live, where people are hungry and cant afford doctors and college.”
LOLOL! That sums it up in a nutshell. :)
” I think BO is horrible on style.”
Style, Substance and Syntax.
Obama clearly suffers without a teleprompter.
His ignorance and speech difficulties are on mega display tonight.
I only wish I had a talk show tomorrow-I could sit back and relax while playing Obama’s UHHHHS.
Ugggh is not an acceptable answer.
I almost...almost feel sorry for Barry.
His worst performance ever.
Ever. Worse than we could have imagined.
In way over his head.
And his entire body.
Whoever in his campaign agreed to this debate should be fired.
Look for Barry to duck the next debate.
John McCain killed.
Brokaw had to borrow Obambi’s teleprompter and he got pw3nd!
BHO can not even answer a fluff question like “What dont you know”.
While McCain let BHO wiggle away, McCain wins this one.
Thank goodness it’s over. And now for the Obama won spin. Barf.
nice ending from McCain.. I don’t feel that McCain did what he needed to do.. I guess I could be wrong.. but I’m a bit disappointed.
I thought the first debate was close, with an edge to McCain because the facts are on his side. I thought this was a big win for McCain. A little more energy would have made it perfect.
Yup..
and now, the CSpan liberal nutcase call-in hour.. :-}
It was not a good debate, I don’t think anyone one, I do think McCain forced some issues but it was painful.
