While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

I just came online a few minutes ago, getting ready to watch the debate, and I saw this thread posted by 2ndDivisionVet. I recommend that everybody on this thread jump over and bookmark that thread for later comments.

Here's the important link from that thread. It's a very good 2002 documentary, on Google Video - 90 minutes long - about the Weather Underground; with interviews of the "former" Weathermen, including Obama's buddies.

Share the video with everyone you know. Obama and his pals are a clear and present danger to our country; he needs to lose this election in a landslide.

Now, back to debate prep... ice cream - check, popcorn - check, coffee - check.
