PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08
Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3
While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

Re Brokaw: Tim Russert died. Brokaw had a much lower profile, but when Russert passes, Brokaw was all the Gravitas NBC had in their bullpen.

O’Reilly thinks McCain needs to tell us that we will be avenged for our financial losses. I do happen to agree. Someone needs to pay.

All this weirdness on FR is attributable to smoking one of the servers during the Palin/Plugs debate. (Jim said it actually smoked)
I’m not sure if the burned out hulk has been disposed of or not but all the slowness and bizarre thread behavior started that night.

He won’t read mine:
“Lately, liberal lawmakers left likely illegal legislation like life-long liability laws, oil leasing, and lugubrious landlocked lake laws. Let’s look at lessons left from lesser legislation. Will you leave these laws in the lurch?”

The moderator, Tom Brokaw of NBC News, is sifting through those millions of questions to find six or seven that he might pose. BS he is. He has his hard liners for McCain and his softballs for the Marxists. Brokass is a socialist like all the rest. WHEN are the stupid republicans going to get a real conservative to "moderate" one of these things instead of agreeing to the Marxists all the time?

Michelle-ma-belle’s taste (or lack of it) in clothes is astounding. What a difference compared to what Cindy is wearing in that photo.
A few weeks back I also saw her sitting next to Biden’s wife. Same dramatic difference - MO had a bland shirt, and Mrs. Biden wore a very tasteful suit, she looked so much more like first lady material. Just based on their clothes, I mean.

Somebody, please make up Rush's great bumper sticker idea:
What do Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden have in common? They both have friends who bombed the Pentagon.

It buttresses my point that McCain is running against the DBM, both in word and deed.

That bottom called pro-lifers liars as well. As someone who was there from 1999 and protested on infanticide and know what he said, i’m pissed.
And I will have my apology... oh yes.
