While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
This is the real tragedy here. We're in the worst economic crisis of our lifetime and our leaders won't tell us the truth.
“That is not fair”
LOL.. Oh man, this socialist windbag.
He will never have it until he is a conservative. And frankly I think she lost quite a bit of that fire in the belly the other night trying to represent a point of view she didn't believe in.
Obama says things are not fair. Whiner.
John McCain is kicking Obama’s to the curb. And Obama’s lies show all over his face. He isn't believable.
Hey Barry,
All revenue and tax legislation must originate in Congress. If you really believe it, sponsor a bill now. Money talks, BS walks. Every Democrat President in the common era (except Mondale) promised tax cuts, the only one who kept that promise was JFK, and sir, you are no JFK (no Dem is anymore).. Put up or shut up..
Yep, a bilion here, a billion there and pretty soon you’re talking real money.
MCCAIN, TELL HIM TAX CUTS GENERATE FREAKIN’ REVENUE!
It does work you moron!
NO
Obama looked like a punk for interrupting Brokaw... that doesn’t make him very “likeable”!
Shut up troll
Brokaw will be found to have given Barry more airtime than McCain when this is over. He’s filabustering.
McCain is smartly making this a referendum on Obama.
Clinton was going to cut taxes wasn’t he?
This debate is so boring.
Obama talks foreveeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr.
Barry is tripping over himself..........this is great!
Are you serious, er, I mean, series? Have you talked politics with her? Do you think she's really undecided?
I am series! I have not talked politics with her. I was just there a week ago and she didn't mention being in the debate, and I won't see her again until after the election. I wish I had known. She's the owner of the shop, so she certainly understands the perspective of the small business owner. She graduated from high school in the late 60s and probably leans a little towards a liberal feminist tempered by the southern, moral values.
Obama is making no sense at all. No one in the audience is following him.
“GHW Bush lost because of Perot. Who is 2008’s Perot”
The country has gotten even stupider since then I’m afraid.
1992 was only four years after Ronald Reagan....... Now it seems like ancient history. :-(
