On Anderson's Cooper 360 they did a major investigative look at the Ayers/Obama connection. They even interviewed Stanley Kurtz.
Bottom line: Just a guy in my neighborhood? Served on one board together?
CNN Says bulls**t!
They worked closely with each other and worked together on TWO boards -- both Annenberg and the Woods Foundation. They also talked about Ayers little tea party to launch Obama and found Obama hadn't been entirely honest about "just stopping by..." It was an event they planned and hosted TOGETHER.
Sarah Palin needs to come out tomorrow and ride this just like she did the New York Times piece: "It appears as though we've learned once again that Barack Obama wasn't exactly telling the truth about his association with the domestic terrorist William Ayers. As a matter of fact it was in a debate during the primary in which he lied. We know this because CNN reports...."

Anderson was trying hard to spin it. But the reporter was saying that this goes to Obama's judgment.
Couldn't he have palled around with a team of nuns for education, rather than a terrorist, if all he was interested in was education?

Exactly.. the fact that Obama had his legal team file lawsuits against the independent group that produced a commercial calling attention to the deep rooted relationship between Obama and Ayers raises serious first amendment issues. There must be at least a few pro-Obama journalists that would raise an eyebrow over that. Looks like Obama has a new running mate.

Cooper asked the reporter what McCain was trying to prove by bringing this up - Drew said something to the effect - "Well, he's trying to do the same thing that Hillary Clinton did during the primaries; question Obama's judgment."
Exactly!! I told my husband this afternoon that this has all errupted after the Hannity's America last night. That was so frightening that I am sure the MSM " officials" that dared watch it, are beginning to wake up themselves... let's hope so.

I suspect your theory could be right. I’ve been predicting a landslide for McCain/Palin all along and it would be extremely hard for the MSM to explain how that could happen with the poll numbers they’ve been reporting.
I fail to see how there could be enough voters in the US that are either completely nuts, on the leftwing payroll, or total Communists that Obama could win.

Then-State Senator Alice Palmer announced to those gathered at the Ayers/Dohrn residence that she was stepping down to make a run for Congress and introduced Obama as her chosen successor.
Ten years before the aforementioned meeting, Alice Palmer was an official of a notorious Communist front group (so identified by the FBI), the U.S. Peace Council, an affiliate of the World Peace Council, an international Soviet front. It goes without saying that during that era of the eighties, both of these mouthpieces for Moscow were working feverishly to undermine President Reagan's arms buildup which played a major role in the downfall of the Soviet Union. That was the time of the worldwide Soviet-inspired nuclear “freeze” movement in 1983, when Palmer was also mentioned as a participant on the World Peace Council's Prague assembly.
In 1986, Palmer wrote an article for the People's Weekly World, a house organ for the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). In that dispatch, Palmer favorably recounted her experiences attending the 27th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
On another piece, I thought that I heard an Obamanite indicate that yes, Obama did associate with Ayers but that he wasn’t aware of his background at the time. Did I hear that correctly? Sounded like a great sound bite for McCain to exemplify Obama’s naivete.
It’s the same thing with all his former friends! If THOSE pukes can “fool” him then what does that say about his foreign policy potential!?
