I’ll pay attention to this kind of think when the polls move.

Soooo glad to be hearing this. I hope I can see a video of this later, or at least a transcript.

Any bets Hillary is giving McCain a private standing ovation in her office? She has been wanting Obama to get his comeuppance for awhile now.

MacCain on FOX Naming and Names and Kicking Butt

I took a look around the TV channels as McCain was delivering his speech, and, wonder of wonders, neither CNN nor MSNBC were carrying his speech. I suspect the network chiefs knew what the content of the speech was going to be and decided not to give McCain the free air time to attack their candidate, Obama.

Nevertheless, I'm glad McCain is beginning to take off the kid gloves and is beginning to hit hard.

But, he's not hitting hard enough yet.

He needs to point out to the American people how inexperienced Obama is ar running anything. He's not experienced at running any kind of government at any level. He's not experience at running any kind of business, not even a mom-and-pop store. He's doesn't know economics, and what he does know has been absorbed through his dealing in congress and through his advisers, and his great sounding speeches have been written for him by his advisers and speech-writers. However, it's very doubtful that Obama himself would've been capable of writing any of those speeches.

Thus, McCain needs to point out to the people that, if Obama has never been in business, and doesn't understand business or economics, then Obama wouldn't be at all capable of running the most complex economy in the world. You don't turn over a major business entity to an office clerk, and you don't turn over the largest and most important economy to a newbie. Even after 4 years in the senate (of which he actually only had 143 actual days of experience), Obams's experience level hasn't increased.

Likewise, and most importantly, on foreign relations and on defense. Obama is still a newbie in that area except for the talking points that he repeats from the democrat handbook.

McCain is getting attacked, not just by Obama, but by the democratic leadership. McCain needs to go after them too.

Basically, McCain needs to present the question to the voters out there: "what is it in Obama's background and experience that qualifies him to become the commander-in-chief, and what is it in his business or economics background that qualifies him to lead the largest and most important economy in the history of the planet?"

One thing he needs to do that Sarah didn't quite step up to in her debate against Biden: When Obama touts his "tax plan" that will reduce taxes for 95% of the American people (which is not true according even to the Obama-leaning FactCheck.org), McCain needs to refute that with something along these lines:
"Regardless of some 'tax plan' that you have, you are on record by your votes to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire, which will in fact be a tremendous tax increase on ALL American taxpayers. And as for your tax proposals, I have enough experience dealing with democrat presidential candidates to remember one in 1992 who campaigned on proposed tax cuts for the middle class but then turned around and championed the largest tax increase in history within his first months in office. Your voting record gives better insight into your plans for the American taxpayer than your 'proposals' do, no matter how many times you try to convince the American people that you won't raise their taxes."

PUNDIT ALERT

Easy response to the Obama surrogates saying that Obama’s relationship with Ayers was superficial and that Obama was only 8 and quote “said the acts were dispicable”

So Obama wants the American Public to excuse his bad judgement?

I looked too. CNN had him in a small window while they watched the DOW make a dramatic rise as McCain spoke.

Changed to MSNBC, they didn’t cover it.

Back to Fox.

HillaryClintonForum.net is a huge PUMA site and they are dead set against Obama! They actually are organized and try to hit the blogs daily to help out McCain/Palin because they are so po’d about how Obama/Media treated Hillary - PLUS - they are as excited about a woman VP candidate as we are! BTW - some of those PUMAS are men, just wanted to clear that up. It is a very active site. My husband who is not an HRC fan, per se, loves that site. They are really on the ball!

add...

In these turbulent economic times the tax increase that you would levy would have the same result as the Smoot Hawley act did in 1930. Exacerbated unemployment and out of control inflation is something that is reckless and radical and something that America can just not afford.

I hope McCain’s strategy was to give Obama enough rope to hang himself and now McCain is coming out and saying all the things we have been wondering why McCain was silent on.

I have been on that boat for a bit and I believe that we are finally seeing a planned unleashing. What delayed this to an extent, obviously, was the bailout. McCain had to keep the rancor down as much as he could at the time but now (for some better, most worse) that a bailout bill has been inked, it's time to use some of his trump cards, most notably the fault of the Dems to deny several chances to back bills that would have tightened the reins on Mae/Mac and CRE but was shot down.

I would rather go down fighting as opposed to keeping above the fray. These lying stinking RATS and their willing accomplices from the “Propaganda Ministry” (MSM) are attempting to hijack an election. NON_STOP FIRE FOR 30 DAYS- WE ARE CONFRONTING EVIL! The SKY FALLING IN CRISIS was CREATED AND CONTINUED BY THE RATS . Notice how all the libs around you smile when the DOW drops significantly. We are dealing with absolute SCUM here!

“You don’t have to hope that things will change when you vote for me. You know things will change, because I have been fighting for change in Washington my whole career. I’ve been fighting for you my whole life. That’s what I’m going to do as President of the United States. Fight for you and put the government back on the side of the people.”
