Not.
Shame on Gallup for publishing a “registered voters” poll just 28 days from an election.
A respectable outfit would’ve switched to LIKELY VOTERS weeks ago.
But then “likely voters” polls favor Republicans by at least 5%!
sorry, wrong number

IMO, McCain made a big mistake in voting for the Bush-Pelosi-Reid giveaway and not having an alternative of his own.
Showing leadership on this issue by pushing hard for a better plan could have saved his plan. It also would have been a very concrete example of him being a “maverick” and fighting for improvement... and not just “change”.
Instead he went along with Bush, Pelosi and Reid. He didn’t even shine the light of truth on all the crud added to that bill.
Combine that with his withdrawal from Michigan and he may have guaranteed an Obama victory.
For real? I just don't see it. I don't know a single soul who likes this guy. Everyone I know (democrats even) thinks he is creepy.
Cedric,
It is what it is. There are a number of daily tracking polls on RCP and I post all of them. If the poll showed McCain up, you wouldn’t be bitching about me posting it. Go back and look at the posts when Gallup showed McCain up; “Gallup is the gold standard”, “Gallup has it right”, etc.
My suggestion to you is to simply ignore the thread if you don’t want to read it.

I have watched that video and it was about what I expected. There have been unheeded warnings for a long time. Much of it was spelled out by Ayn Rand fifty years ago. One thing she specifically warned about (as others have also) is the corruption of language. I swear we have “journalists” now who throw words together as if making a salad.
Suffolk as it at 51-39 in Va.
Don’t worry, he’s going to name names of the porkers
2 Chronicles 14:11
11Asa cried to the Lord his God, O Lord, there is none besides You to help, and it makes no difference to You whether the one You help is mighty or powerless. Help us, O Lord our God! For we rely on You, and we go against this multitude in Your name. O Lord, You are our God; let no man prevail against You!
I live in a subdivison with at least 200 homes. I have seen at least 1/4 of the homes with McCain signs and NONE for the Obama. I know thats not a very sctentific survey but I think it’s better than Gallop’s.
And they are going to continue getting worse until McCain can put forth a clear economic agenda and the appropriate punches to counter Obama. The good news is that McCain will have three straight days of preparation for tomorrow’s debate. That is where he needs to strike and hard.
And Dole never launched the kind of attack (Ayers/Wright) that McCain (through Palin) has!
Where is McCain ?
It seems like he is hiding out somewhere.
I think he is preparing for tomorrow’s debate.

Are the communist Zero and “friends” setting up the same thing to happen here?
Were you religiously posting the Gallup poll when it showed McCain leading?
Yep. The Willie Horton ad knocked out Dukakis early.
I thought Gallup would have Obama up 12 today, and this is a RV poll.
Gore was down like this in Early OCT 2000 and came back.
I don’t believe that. It’s the other way around.
It’s Obama’s election to lose. We have a president with historically low ratings and a once in a century financial crisis a month before the election. That does not bode well for McCain.
