Is there any way to reduce the US dependency on foreign markets, and visa-versa?? Global trade is OK as long as it is fair both ways, but the financial institutions linkage to the degree they seem to be, is hard to swallow.

The LIBOR rates went sky high right after the "bailout" passed. Those don't go up all by themselves. Somebody raised them.

I suspect when the historians investigate this recent mess, they’ll discover that a few conniving individuals started fires that got way beyond their control. They hoped to sew the wind in American politics but reaped the whirlwind that brought the whole world to catastrophe. Soros should be hunted down with extreme prejudice!
