How can this be a low blow when Hillary Clinton brought this out during one of the Dem debates during the primary? The problem Hillary had is that she could not alienate the black vote so she had to handle him with kid gloves. McCain doesn't have that problem because I am sure he plans on getting no more than 6% of the black vote (if that).

Mutual assured destruction? Based on what? If the Obama camp had anything even remotely as damning as the Ayers, Wright, Rezko connections they would have played those cards heavily already.
