ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is accusing Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" for his association with a former 1960s radical.
Palin was referring to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. The group took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

When he responds hit back on astroturfing... say “At least I have the guts to attack out in the open, their team uses shadowy PR firms to manipulate and shape the media” bring up how Axelrod used recruited religious leaders to fake public support for getting poor patients out of emergency rooms... bring up some of his other work too...
Sarah, you are my leader.
Also notice the AP's deceptive-on-its-face construct of "took credit for", intended to leave readers with some doubt that they actually "committed" those acts.
After all, Bill Clinton "took credit for" things that took place during his presidency over which he had little or no responsibility or control...
Anybody want to guess whether the AP referred to the Unabomber or Charles Manson et al as merely 'taking credit for' their acts?
Excellent; Sarah’s fired a full spread of photon torpedoes right at Zero.
Hopefully there’s a lot more where that came from!
I’ve been waiting all summer for the month of October, believing that the Republican strategy was to bide their time, build slowly (the successful offloading of the DEMOCRAT driven financial scandal onto the always passive Republican party, was an unforseen but preventable setback), and then unload on the heavily flawed Obama in the final month. I like your 5 week/3 week analysis; it is spot on in my opinion.
John McCain needs to open up the shore batteries as well.
It is not a manly thing to let a woman do all the hard work, and John McCain if nothing else, is a very brave man.
hmm, I don’t think the debate was really place to let loose. Her goal there, and very much achieved, was to establish herself as a serious candidate and obliterate the negatives she was being saddled with. With that baggage gone, she can sharpen those teeth and show ‘em what a poised and energized Sarah-cuda can do.
I don’t see what the media finds so weird about what Palin said. Ayers IS a terrorist.
The brutal truth is that when it comes to campaigning Palin is Reagan to McCain’s George Herbert Walker Bush.
I agree McCain needs to do the same. It is just always much more powerfully presented when Palin says it.
At this late date however, everybody needs to be saying it.
Obama has provided pul-lenty of ammunition....
I think it could be ab all of the above kinda thing.
no big deal, it's not like they planted bombs at the Pentagon and U.S. Capital...oh wait....

Governor Palin thankfully gives new meaning to an olde adage:
I would rather sandpaper a Lion’s ass than mess with her (him)!
We have to be careful Sarah doesn’t scare Our timid Presidential candidate too much with her “GO Gettem Attitude!”
ViVa Sarah! MAY GOD BLESS SARAH and AMERICA!
