As if Chicago is prepared to bear the tax burden of sponsoring the Olympics. Every time I visit the city, the politicians are dreaming up another tax. Invariably, Olympics are bad news for taxpayers. If you're very lucky, some of the vestiges will have value after the closing ceremony.
