She twinkled, cocked her head, and spoke as plainly as she could. Darn right it was predator lenders, she told the moderator, Gwen Ifill of PBS, when asked who was to blame for the mortgage meltdown. Her sentences had lots of pep and patriotism, and few gs at the end of her words You betcha and Get down to gettin business done and doggone it.
Expectations for both candidates were low, but the expectations for the debate were almost absurdly high cable news commentators led up to the event like children on a Halloween sugar bender, deliriously excited by what The Washington Times described as a Thrilla in Manila showdown

New York Times begrudgingly admitting that Sarah won, and the best part is that last night's debate exposes the medis's bias, in that in an unfiltered enviroment, Gov. Palin shines.

betcha they're young
betcha they're smart
bet they collect things like
ashtrays and art
betcha they're good
why shouldn't they be?
their one mistake
was giving up me!
so maybe now its time,
and maybe when I wake,
they'll be there calling me baby, maybe...

Let me give everyone a heads up for what you will NOT see in the next few days.
There will be very few polls reported on. McCain-Palin will get a big bump from this, but it won't be reported. No way the media gives Palin credit for anything.

Did you hear the moderator say to Biden after the debate:
“You did good.”? No bias there.

It is absoultely sickening what what NBCBSABC had on this morning. They actually had Donna Brazile give an opinion on how well she though Biden did.
Guess what Donna said, "It was the performance of his life!"
Journalism is dead in America.

Palin (using a baskeball vernacular to capitalize on her point guard experience) penetrated through the Donkey defense, dribbled consistently around Biden and actually stole the ball from him a couple a times to score some key layups. In the final minute she took the ball the length of the court with some fancy dribbling around Ifill and rifled a behind-the-back pass to John McCain who is outside the ark at the top of the key. It is up to him to make the critical 3-point shot in the next debate against Barak Obama!

My 87 year old mother even picked up on that....and her hearing is bad! LOL.
I think “un-biased Gwen” meant to say...”Good job on putting together answers for the questions I sent you last week. And you only had a week to memorize all your answers! Wow...Good job!”
We got the abbreviated version. LOL

hey is that John Kerry on the floor with the ball?-looks like him!

After the debate, I went over to
the Hillary Clinton forum to gauge their reaction. This is the place where many disgruntled Hitlery supporters (PUMAs etc.) hang out. They were ECSTATIC when Palin was announced as McCain's VP, and last night, their reaction to the debate was also. They LOVED Palin's performance.
While we Freepers and the HRC folks disagree TOTALLY about Hitlery (they want to see Hitlery as Prez in 2012) their views about ObamaSama mimic ours here at FR. They LOATHE him!
It was interesting to note how they referred to ObamaSama and his minions as far left radicals!

I'm disappointed she didn't mention the predatory Clinton administration's shameless use of the Community Reinvestment Act as a bludgeon against lenders. If you havent noticed, the McCain ticket has been stripping away some of those Clinton voters so you have to be careful. The democratic congress with its huge 9% approval rating is the best target right now and that is where she should have directed her answer towards in my opinion.

It WAS the performance of his life. The WORSE performance of his life.
I don’t understand how liberals can say the stuff they say with a straight face.
