We have to be careful here, but I just checked the Wilmington DE yellow pages for Katie’s Italian Restaurant. There is no listing in the Verizon yellow pages effective March 2008.

Not trying to carry water for plugs, just trying to hellp verify facts - Was he perhaps talking about “Klondike Kate’s”?

"Katie's" was Katie's in Wilmington. Klondike Kate's is in Newark, not Wilmington. Flat out, Sen. Biden showed how out of touch he is, trying to throw in some local flavor that fell flat because he doesn't REALLY know Delaware anymore (except for the Greenville enclave where his compound is).

And note that on their transcript, CNN has changed it from
"go down Union Street with me in Wilmington and go to Katie's Restaurant" to
"go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie's Restaurant."

MSM covering their candidates' flubs, as usual. I just watched the video again, and it's definitely "and" in there.
