Minnesota and/or Wisconsin may be next.
This is alot like Election 2000, McCain is better served concetrating on the Mtn West and NH then the Upper Midwest and PA.
MI/MN/WI/PA were always longshots for McCain.
Not Wisconsin, according to the same Politico article. In fact, of all the blue states in 2004, Wisconsin may be closest to flipping to red. It was the most closely contested state by percentage of victory in the entire 2004 election.
McCain needs to be leading by 4-5 points nationally to have a real shot at Minnesota or Michigan. He is much better off refocusing his Michigan resources to Wisconsin, Ohio, and other places where he has a much better chance of winning the state.
I have heard internet rumors that McCain may give up in WI, PA, and MN, and only focus on FL, OH, and MO.
Latest polls in MN show that the race is tied
