Reading FR over the past 48 hours or so has been downright depressing. Yesterday I found myself snapping at my children for no other reason than my negative state of mind. The election is still a month away. I don't believe that all is lost. Polls are being manipulated and so are we!
So, what GOOD news have you heard lately? What is going on in your part of the country that gives you hope that McCain will win? What positive anecdotes can you share with all of us? Post it here. We could all use the encouragement.

It’s all about the Libs saying how much they love Obama, but in the end they won’t vote for him because they’re the true bigots and won’t vote for a black guy. Bradley was the Mayor of LA and he ran for Gov. of California in 1982. Based on the almighty polls, he was supposed to win really big, but didn’t because of all those Libs who lied to the pollsters (just to look all progressive and such). More than 25 years later, I don’t believe there is much of a Bradley effect out there (except maybe among the Democrats). I would love to have voted for Obama if he didn’t stand for everything I abhor.

I didn’t have to wait 45 minutes for gas in Atlanta yesterday. Refineries are back online and pipeline supply is almost normal!!

The fix is in , we now live in a socialist govt. where the media controls all tv, radio, and print media. oh ya academia also. This election has become a farce, the lying dope is most radical nominee ever is being portrayed as mainstream moderate by the MSM, and the GOP is silent. They have been allowed to demonize/destroy Palin, blame the GOP for the eco disaster and elevate the dope to Mesiahs status. All the lies and distortions are being presented as facts to the American people who do not know any better. Credit flows have not stopped, folks. The media and the Dem party have the most to gain from scaring us, and that's what they're attempting to do.

My family and friends are healthy, I am leaving work early to go play golf with my dad, I bought Lehman stock 2 weeks ago thursday at a nickel sold it friday for 22 cents, bought more last week at 15 cents sold it at 30 cents, bought some WaMu stock monday for 3.5 cents and sold it yesterday for 12 cents
and today lehman is back under 20 cents I may just buy some more.
god I hope Obama doesn’t win he is going to cost me a fortune
