One thing I have noticed over the last two years are bees dying in my swimming pool. I save the ones that I see in trouble, but it’s not always enough.

my aunt kept bees in her orchard when I was a child. She kept a bathtub of water with pieces of wood floating on it, the bees drank while sitting on the wood.

It is amazing what our elders taught everyday just living their lives..isn’t it? That won’t work in the pool unfortunately, because the wood would just be sucked into the skimmer. Often there are floats in the pool with standing water on top of them, but it seems the bees like to land straight on the water for some reason. The idea that Americanmom advised(to put saucers of pool water near the container plants) might work though. It is worth a shot anyway. Thanks for the tip.
