Yes, unless some unexpected positive development during the mid-day on Monday(U.S. Time,) I think U.S. stocks would be down, too.

Now it is down. Nikkei sliding CONSIDERABLY, at 2:50 p.m. local, 1:50 a.m. Eastern US time.

Down 169 points, from the morning up, to 11,763, may keep going down.....

News is coming out that (lots of) Republicans will vote PRESENT on that bailout, and that details of the big “crap sandwich” are coming out. I figured it would start to tank in afternoon sessions in Asia. Here goes folks!

Still some activity in the Asian markets. Isn’t it about time most of them were closing? European markets seem VERY busy...
