Flush what, the Republic? Because that’s what tanking the economy now does, effectively. it’s not even a matter of the exact numbers anymore. Either we pass this bill or the market tanks, Obama gets elected, and brings with him a large number of new Democrat members of Congress. That’s the stark reality. Any other belief is, simply, delusional. The House GOP took risks to get a better bill than they would have gotten last week - but now the clock is ticking down, right into the last hour. For God’s sake, this site started to expose the excesses and corruption of the Clintons - Obama is far worse than Clinton ever was. Several times worse, at the very least.

There is no way I want to see 40 more years of socialist Democrat rule and/or another world war to get them out of power. Obama as President can destroy this country. There will be no check or balance on him from any of the other 3 branches of government (yes, I'm counting the MSM as the 4th (and unconstitutional) branch of government because of their government based monopoly of power and influence).

These people are totally crazy if they think that another Depression is going to revive conservatism somehow. It sure did wonders for the GOP the last time, didn’t it?

Never mind the other risks. The world, overall, isn’t in very good shape right now. One wonders, for example, how China’s leaders might respond to a domestic crisis of the sort that this could bring on.

Uh, this is a Democrat, no scratch that, this is a socialist bill. There will be no end to socialism in America if we allow this to pass. Best take our lumps now and enjoy our freedom while we still have it.

Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, et al, are loving it. Bush and Paulson are making their socialist dreams come true. Obama’s already taking credit for saving America from the Great Depression ver 2.0! There will be no stopping them now.
