The compromised bill does NOT reference ACORN in this matter. It just encourages the Sec. of Treas. to join in something called Project HOPE...sounds like an OBama thing.
But this HOPE thing is part and parcel of ACORN’s birth...something about ...well...helping poor people get affordable housing. ACORN evidently was getting money...now why didn’t I know this...and used it for their original purpose....heh. They went out and collected fraudulent votes.
Well hey, they needed money and this fine Dem package got it for them. Cheat to win if you have to...is the Dem mantra. we all know this.
So that bit about funding ACORN with money from this bailout is NOT in this compromised bill but ACORN is still in there via this...heh...Project HOPE.
