Then then Dems will blame it on the Repubs saying “they should have done something” and Obama will take it in November.
This has been my big worry ever since the jockeying for position around this bill started.
But: as much as I LOATHE Obama, I’ve been wondering if maybe the Dems taking the election this November may not be a bad thing.
Whoever wins this year is going to be at the helm during a financial crisis that will probably be worse than GD1. In 2012 the Dems won’t be able to be elected again for 20 years if they’re running the show when this all goes down.
Short term, it would suck. Long term, it might be beneficial.
Assuming there is a long term after this, that is.

With Obama and a Rat congress they will start building an even bigger organization to flaten us in the next election.
They will intimitidate the press to only report good things..every new story and TV news will begin with ..Today Pres. Obama..bestowed something on someone.
Plus they will enroll so many illegals on the voter rolls that they will have a permanent majority.
Look at what Obama tried to do in Chicago and St. Louis with the press. The fairness doctrine will be only fair to Obama and the Rats.
This won’t be like Carter, because we are miles further gone now..with millions of illegals just waiting to pull the lever RAT=Socialist. Something for nothing..
With the possibility of having the Democrats and all leftist politicians from both major parties in control of everything important, it will also cause two things that are truly very bad to become a long-term reality: 1.) The Democrats will fully enact the Fairness Doctrine, which will forever kill off U.S. conservatism; and 2.) All leftists and all pro-amnesty politicians from both major political parties will fully enact all amnesty for illegal immigrant legislation, which will also help to kill U.S. conservatism as well as help create a socialistic third world country for the long-term and help kill off all U.S. capitalism! Illegals will also be allowed to legally vote in all future U.S. elections, and they will not vote in the majority for any conservative politicians at any levels! This would truly be the worse case scenario politically for conservatives and for conservatism at every political level, and I truly don’t see how U.S. conservatism could ever possibly recover after all of these things truly happened throughout the entire U.S.! It would truly be the end of the U.S. as a capitalistic country.

Thats not how it works. They will blame it all on Bush & the Republicans. Bush will be the new Hoover. The Dems will be FDR again.
