What did she expect?
She gave the bracelet to Obama because she is a peacenik and he is a peacenik, and she wanted him to end the war.
So, now she’s got pretty much what she asked for.
I don’t know what her dead son would have thought about being used in this way. And Obama “I’ve got a bracelet, too” Obama doesn’t seem to understand the difference between McCain’s honoring the dead and his making a political football out of the dead.
But, then, neither did the mother who foolishly gave Obama the bracelet. If she’s changed her mind and repented, maybe she should publically demand that Obama return it.
