I’m also sick of hearing him say that “if we profit from this bailout, the American people should receive the benefit.” We all know that money would simply come back to the treasury where OBAMA and his ilk will spend it twice over.

He’s lying.

But he’ll win on this one.

McCain failed to take the “protect the people” public position, phony or not, Obama did, phony.

The “protections” are phony. When Obama spoke at the debate about the people profiting from this like under FDR’s bailout, he did so with ease. He is the Goldman Sachs child. The press won’t cover it, they still hope the Dems are not “the party of Wall Street”, which they are, but so are the Repubs, of which McCain has done nothing to disprove.

Can Mr. McCain atleast say to Obama:

“Your character and history shows you need a lesson in ETHICS 101.”

What a teenager (Obama).

“Now, all McCain has to do is say he opposes it as does 2/3 of the people.”

He doesn’t, and if he does, Obama will blame him for not protecting us from Bush, Obama will claim protections included, but they are phony, just what Paulson and Goldman Sachs told Obama to say.

Can McCain run as for the “common man” rather than Wall Street? No.

Hard to tell whether he's a just a grandstanding liar or if he actually thinks he knows what's going on and what to do. That's the quandary with most of the prominent Democrats, past and present. They are institutionalized, but they should be either in jail or in therapy, not in power.

May God reveal truth though the Holy Spirit. We are up against an anti-Christ (if not the anti-Christ). He is filled with demons. You can know that because Jesus said, "Satan is the father of lies and there is no truth in him". This is not a war against flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. We must do everything we can that is earthly possible to defeat this man but we MUST start out on our knees. Pray for the Spirit of Truth to do battle against the spirits of wickedness and lies. Pray in Jesus Name.

Jhn 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Darkness and lies have absolutely no power nor can when light shine.

I hope McCain votes no on the bailout. Then buys time on prime tv to educate the voters as to who was responsible for the crises, how the dems turned a deaf ear on his warnings about it coming, how he worked to get it right rather than continue his political campaign and why the bailout bill still stinks and screws the taxpayers.

I knew he was going to do this. Even said so on another thread. McCain failed to come forward with his part in the overall construction of this bill and if he does so now it’ll look like he’s being a petulant toddler. Instead he should come out and say it was the GOP that did it and point out how Obama helped to fail the economy.

My point was that O didn’t do a thing for this bill for which to take credit, positive or negative.

He lies at every step.

That doesn't seem likely. He had the perfect chance Friday night and didn't take advantage of it.

Obama blamed the whole mess on the Republicans and deregulation. McCain should have immediately responded that the problem was caused by the Community Reinvestment Act, a thoroughly Democrat social-engineering debacle.

I have been warning people of how Obama and his thought control police would take away freedoms and now he has even declared that he alone can give credit to someone.

Would that (no credit for Wall Street bailout) not be good for McCain?

Great point. Thank you, I feel better.
