When she said something to the effect of “protecting the taxpayers”, her left upper lip broke free from the Botox and snarled upward in the oddest movement. I backed up and replayed it several times just to be sure I was seeing it right. It was the most peculiar body language.
I once saw a documentary about facial expressions that showed when a subject was lying. When subjects were instructed to read a statement that contained a lie, one side of their face would contort briefly when viewed on a split screen in slow motion.
