Look John McCain handles forein affairs and defense, and Gov Sarah keeps him honest on at least some of the domestic issues

According to this story, Paulson gets 350 billion upfront, not 700. It includes the insurance provisions the Republicans wanted. Unclear if ACORN was stripped.
Deal = Dow rockets 500-700 points on Monday, market continues to recover in the days and weeks ahead, credit markets start to move again, housing bottoms at some point, and economy begins slow recovery.
Not much of a choice at this point. Conservative principles have to take a temporary back seat to the rescue of a half-dead financial system.

Yes the GOP reps def were there and it is too early for people saying “McCain better not support this” because we have no idea what THIS is.
barney Frank is an obnoxious individual and he spoke about no one being completely happy with this agreement and about compromise, I THINK there must have been some major element added or removed to make the conservatives accept it.
Isn’t this just thrilling! Those Democrats are just so smart. They are Masters Of The Universe! It can’t be long until they start turning water into wine and lead into gold.
