Shocking..........
If the entire list of 535 scoundrels would fit in one post, I would have done so. Had to break it up to keep the computer from crashing.
Well, getting half a loaf isn’t going to be good enough for some on here. They’ll protest and threaten to vote for Obama if a compromise goes through rather than allow a stock market crash that will be blamed squarely on McCain and the GOP.
Actually he was trying to remove the broomstick stuck up her a$$.
“If McCain supports this he loses my vote..
“Ill sign someone up to replace you.”
So will I.
We can recover from this bailout, but seeing the tactics BO is using in this entire election cycle, I don’t have any confidence that we could recover if he’s elected POTUS.
Actually he was trying to remove the broomstick stuck up her....
“Reid claimed it was based on an idea Pelosi came up with.”
Sounds like Reid is throwing Pelosi under the bus.
Do not worry about them, they are a very tiny minority of people who cannot be appeased. They can sit home if they want or vote for a third party. It is true that most people were against the original proposal but also most people wanted some type of bailout and now we got a compromised bailout that include a lot of House Republicans-McCain suggestion and only half of the Paulsen plan.
Reid said this was based on idea crazy Nan had. If true, I wonder how they got conservatives to go along. I know we must wait and see but if Queen Nancy likes it, it can't be good.
Did you bother to call this evening?
Notably missing from the group was House Republican leader John Boehner, which could indicate there were still issues to be worked out.
Representative Roy Blunt, whom Boehner appointed to work on behalf of reluctant House Republicans in the past days of negotiations, spoke on behalf of their faction, and was cautious.
“We need to look and see where we are on paper tomorrow,” Blunt said. “I think we are going to be able to have an announcement tomorrow, but these are difficult issues.”
The White House said it was “very pleased with the progress made tonight in these discussions” and “pleased by the hard work on both sides of the aisle,” CNN reported.

Anything Slimy Harry, and No Nothing Nancy would bring up cannot be good for the country.... Those two really make you question the wisdom of God, Why did he create so many more horses Asses than he did horses...
If it hasn’t been acknowledged by house Republicans, it’s likely Barbara Streisand.
Stole my idea word for word. The end is near folks.Looks like we’re going to give money to the morons who made this mess in the first place. The country has really gone insane.Oh yea, I’m sure part of the money will go to those who can’t afford to pay their houses off, the very thing that started this whole mess to begin with . INSANE!!!!!
If we get Obama there wont be anything left to save in 4 years. These are dangerous times my friend. If Obama gets in taxes will be the least of your worries.
Maybe they're doing this to bring the Bush-Dem plan to a vote and force the Rats to pass it all on their own.
Does either of you smoke?
“Reid claimed it was based on an idea Pelosi came up with.”
If true, then God help us all.
First thing Monday morning I am dumping my stock holdings and taking my money out of the bank. I will park everything until after the election.
I was told by my government, the House and Senate leadership, Jack Welch, Bernanke, Paulsen, and company that the economy would collapse this past Friday if a deal wasn't reached.
That didn't happen.
I was told all week by my government, the House and Senate leadership, Jack Welch, Bernanke, Paulsen, and company that all credit had dried up, and that NOBODYcould get loans anymore.
I called my local Nissan dealership in Grapevine and told them that it was all over the local news that Texas Nissan of Grapevine was no longer financing cars, and was strictly doing business as cash only. I asked how long that was going to last. The sales manager on the phone about stroked and wanted to know exactly which media outlets were reporting that. I told her ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC...and that they were reporting exactly what the aforementioned people had told us this past week.
The sales manager told me that was absolutely not true, that unless you had horrible credit, they were financing people right and left. Based off of my previous purchase in March, I would be approved for 1.9% financing. That doesn't seem like a depression/recession/Armageddon to me.
