So, did McCain say anything remotely conservative in this debate? The only part I saw was the end, which I thought McCain finished well (politically speaking). Blech, as much as I love politics, I couldn’t bear to make myself watch to statists slug it out. Will watch the HBO special DVD series on John Adams tonite. :)
Yes, he talked about cutting taxes so that business would have a reason to stay in the U.S. and not move to countries like Ireland (his example) with lower tax rates.
Great job Sen. McCain. However, you should have taken it to the Democrats on causing the banking mess with forcing loans to unqualified borrowers and then blocking reform!
You muist have missed the first 15 minutes ... McCain : Spending freeze in washington (except Defense and veteran care); cut waste in military procurement; veto every bill until the pork goes away; McCain was in HARDCORE fiscal conservative mode tonight.
I think these idiots in the democratic house seats have gone and truly pissed him off.
