The narrative for the debate is not determined by the roundtables, the American people find their own narrative.

None of the pundits mentioned the Gore sighs in their after debate analysis, but you can be sure the people noticed. They all said it was a tie until a week later when it became obvious Gore lost.

They refer to Bennett as the round table conservative but no disclaimer on the others.

Very well said, at the nixon, kennedy debate, everyone claimed initially that Nixon won, the people perspective was much different.

I hope John McCain’s first executive order as president is to ban T. Boone Pickens from TV for life.

I thought Obama's lack of respect was dreadful. Common decency requires a certain level mutual understanding.

He repeatedly interrupted Senator McCain and made faces.

We all understand that News organization who are behaving as undeclared 527's for the Obama campaign , will spin his performance.

A reasonable person can not call Obamas presence during this debate presidential.

Winning a debate means nothing. Actually having belief in the words spoken during the debate does.

Obamas constant agreement with Senator McCains statements during exchanges did nothing but reduce the differences between them. I got the impression, if Obama hears a good idea, his only recourse is agreement. If he had not articulate this position in the past, why does he agree? A debate is a forum to validate positions, not find one you have not already researched and discarded. And if he already agreed, why not explain how he came to that point and tell why his reasoning is different.
