Clearly Reid wanted McCain to come to D.C. before he didn’t want McCain to come to D.C.
As for Obama, he wasn’t going to D.C. before he was going to D.C.

On FOX they just showed a report by Jim Engle- laying out in simple terms how the Republicans tried to introduce tighter reg’s and more transparent lending practices in 06 and that EVERY Democrat voted against it. He said Alan Greenspan went before Congress and testified that IF they didn’t clean FM/FM up, there would be severe economic outcomes.

WOW- The coverage on CNN of Fannie Mae (before this mess) while it was falling apart was 3% of the coverage CNN gave to ENRON.
Is it any WONDER the public doesn’t GET IT?

Engle's report appeared last night on FOX News... it was the best piece of reporting I've seen in a long time. Really laid out this mess in black and white. The video clips and the audio from Barney Frank were especially damning!
Remember Tom Friedman wishing we could be China for a day.
