There was Chris Dodd explaining to all us little people how the auto bailout is going to require serious accountability and change in leadership. He told Chris Cuomo that if you want better results then the leadership is going to have to change.

hmmmm. Caught myself giggling at the irony and turned off the telly for another indefinite period of time.

Before the election the libs wanted change - their guy gets in there and starts hiring retreads and starts talking strangely like GW when it comes to Gitmo and Afghanistan.

So - they decided Obama-the-wise is “pragmatic”, and isn’t that wonderful, and isn’t he very intelligent?

Chris Dodd and Barney “The Banking Queen” Frank should be censured and thrown out by their own people (which is the only way to actually “hold them accountable”), but virtually the entire bunch is corrupt, so there is no hope there.

I have F&F on but with the mute button pressed. If something bad happens somewhere, it might pop up on my screen and I might need or want to know about it. Otherwise, there is no need to actually listen.

To have Chris Dudd calling for the resignation of the head of GM is the height of abomination. I hope he meets the same fate as OJ one day. Luckily we have Sen. Shelby to balance out that committee.

The CNBC Squawk Box guy Joe Kernin was on Chris Matthew's MTP imitation show Sunday. Apparently it didn't go well. He probably challenged Tweety Bird's economic prowess.

The Supreme Court should say something about The Chosen One’s hiding of his identity today. I predict a loss on this battle but their are more battles to be fought before this war is over.

Bill Bennett has on someone who is pro-bailout of the auto companies. He says that what they have come up with is essentially bankruptcy without the formal process. His name is Bob Samuelson.

Bill is asking really good questions. Like why won’t Cerebus put its own money in if this is so likely to work. Samuelson says they won’t put money in because car sales have collapsed.

How will government “loans” help change that. No answer, but he is staying for the next segment.

Samuelson says that they have to take a cut in hourly wages.

This is not going to happen, which is why this is not ever going to work. He says that the UAW has become a mini welfare state with more retirees than active workers.

Sounds like Social Security.

Essentially what he is saying is that what needs to happen is not going to happen, just like with Social Security, so this isn’t going to work, but we’re going to do it anyway.

I have been listening to this guy for 40 minutes now, and this is not going to turn out well at all.

We are lurching from one disaster to another and almost no one is trying to put a foot on the brakes.

On FNFs they said the United Auto Workers (UAW) is the only party not making any concessions in this bailout proposal. If so, I say no. And hopefully a majority of representatives will also. I heard GMs gonna take a part of this money to build a state of the art facility in BRAZIL!Apparently Ford already has one there.

That whacky Reverend Wright feels it's save to come out of his hole now. Bashing all the media. FNFs were disappointed they didn't get mentioned. Calling Elizabeth Hasselbeck a dumb blond. Oh my.

That man is just despicable, but what is really disgusting to me is his adoring congregation. That is not a “church” in any sense that I understand the word.
