The only word I heard (I just googled) is that the fake one called McCains people this morning so that they can issue a joint “statement” about the economy. That is all.

If McCain thought that was a stupid idea and it was better to suspend his campaign to address this crisis, he certainly does not need fake ones permission, nor guidance, to do so.

The only reason 0bama wanted to issue a statement is the 0bama campaign was afraid that 0bama would end up supporting the bill and McCain opposing it.
