McCain is going to lead legislatively in the following areas (among many) that people care about:
1. no pork attached to this rescue plan
2. no golden parachutes for crooks
You know that his coming to DC is a good move or Reid would not have erupted in anger.
McCain’s people know what they are doing. If anyone had told us back in March that McCain would be even with BO in many blue states on September 24, we’d be laughed off FR. Let’s stop the repeated second guessing.
By my own admission, I too am frankly and pleasantly surprised with the McCain campaign. He really wants to be elected President, and isn’t going to roll over like Bob Dole.

Yes, you have to give him that. It’s a terrible year for the Republican presidential nominee, the MSM is in the tank for Obama, but McCain has fought hard. And he hasn’t played it safe.
