Frankly I have had it, and I know a lot of other women out there who are with me on this. I have had enough of the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin. It has to end.
She was in New York on Tuesday meeting with world leaders at the U.N. And what did the McCain campaign do?
They tried to ban reporters from covering those meetings. And they did ban reporters from asking Gov. Palin any questions.
I call upon the McCain campaign to stop treating Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower who will wilt at any moment.
This woman is from Alaska for crying out loud. She is strong, she is tough, she is confident. And you claim she is ready to be one heartbeat away from the presidency. If that is the case, then end this chauvinistic treatment of her now. Allow her to show her stuff.
Allow her to face down those pesky reporters just like Barack Obama did today, just like John McCain did today. Just like Joe Biden has done on numerous occasions. Let her have a real news conference with real questions.

LOL! I don't know if everyone knows what that mean..but I do!
Don't just shut down the media -- let the folks KNOW WHY! Start calling the shots for damn change!
Campbell Brown. TV tough guy. Journalistic bad-ass. Calling out Sarah Palin, kindergarten playground style.
Good Lord. Can these people get any smaller?
Dan Senor, former Bush foreign policy advisor and current Republican strategist and Fox News Analyst.
This is the end result of Campbell Brown NOT treating that yeast infection immediately. Now the itch and the smell are driving her insane!
This is exactly the kind of evenhanded impartiality that makes journalism America’s most respected profession.
Brown is so hysterical I wonder if she’s got a crush on Sarah and just has to meet her in person.
Without a doubt, the craziest person I have seen on television in a long time.
Where does all that hate come from?
C. Brown —— EMS.
In other words..
“Let us at her..snarl snarl, c’mon we want a piece of her..bark bark...we want her..grrr, grrr...howl” (add rabid foam coming from her mouth)
Seems to me, the McCain campaign was doing the DBM a favor, preventing them from embarassing themselves by asking questions like “When did Todd stop sexually abusing Bristol?” in front of world leaders.
Stop Sexist treatment!
Is it that time of the month, Campbell?
It shows..
Actually I agree with Campbell on this though my guess is her intentions are less than honorable. I wonder what McCain is afraid of. Either she is a smart, tough minded candidate who can take on all comers or she is an affirmative action pick who is not ready for prime time. If she is the former then let her do her thing and prove us all right. If she is the latter then the Left is right and she was the pander pick. I would like to believe she is the former.
Juan’s only chance to win this election is to capture the Hillary bitter men and women vote. If Sarah is the person we all think she is she can help him do that. Without that Sarah he has little to offer the electorate.
The group think in the media is beyond belief.
They cant get off the “Palin Bad” mantra no matter how rediculous they sound and look
Very much agreed. Let Governor Palin BE Governor Palin! : )
I never take anyone named after a soup seriously.
She'll be showing her stuff, at the times and places of her choosing, to those who MATTER. That does not include the opposition's surrogates disguised as reporters!
Oh, yeah- I am familiar with ESAD. And I totally agree with thte sentiment. Miz Brown can take a BIG bite!
