NEW YORK: Chairman Senate Muhammadmian Soomro may be having a friend in White House if Barak Hussain Obama finally succeeds in his presidential bid.
Hardly a few people know about Soomro's link with Obama, which he never discussed it in public. But in private interactions with influential Pakistanis here in the US, Obama disclosed that Soomro's father was his host when he went on a hunting expedition in Jacobabad during his visit to Pakistan in 1981.
While in Karachi, Obama had stayed at the residence of his college friend, Hassan Chandio. In Jacobabad, he was the guest of Soomro family. Muhammadmian Soomro confirmed this information and said it was his first meeting with Obama.
"Yes, he had been our guest and spent three days in Jacobabad," he told The News. Soomro, presently in the US, his second home, said an American friend had told his father, Ahmadmian Soomro, about Obama's arrival in Pakistan and asked him to look after the American. Soomro's father was the deputy speaker of West Pakistan Assembly and had also later served in the Senate.
Ahmadmian Soomro had also served in banking industry and was considered a pioneer in cooperative banking. By the time Soomro's father had hosted Obama, he was only a college student who went to Pakistan on his way from Indonesia where his mother was working with the Ford Foundation's micro credit finance project. Also Obama's mother was a frequent traveller to Pakistan and according to Time Magazine, she had a little bit proficiency in speaking Urdu.
When Soomro was asked about the person who referred Obama to his father, he said he nowadays lived in some country in South America. He was, however, reluctant to disclose his identity, saying he will have to seek permission from that man before giving his profile.
Although, Obama has not disclosed his link with Soomro, he mentioned it during his canvassing campaign while talking to a Pakistani American, Shahid Ahmad Khan, member of Board of Trustees Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
And Obama claims the only hunting he did in his entire life was spear fishing as a boy in Hawaii.

Sohale Siddiqi is identified as “Sadik” in Obama’s memoir, Dreams From My Father, and is described as “a short, well-built Pakistani” who smoked marijuana, snorted cocaine and liked to party. Siddiqi was from Karachi, Pakistan, and Obama’s roommate when he attended Columbia University. Yet,Siddiqi was not a student at Columbia and became an illegal having over stayed his tourist visa.
Siddiqi is a recovering drug addict and now lives in Seattle working for a community theater.

This particular book discusses the gradual involvement of Usama Bin Laden in the Afghan jihad against the Soviet Union. Bin Laden's odyssey began 17 days after the Soviet invasion on Christmas Day 1979. This places Bin Laden's first foray seeking out what he could do for the jihad in mid-January 1980; he was 21 years old. His first actions were not in Afghanistan but in Pakistan, where he donated $3 million to Pakistani Islamist organization Jamiat-e-Islami (The Islamic Group) to be distributed to Afghan mujahideen (jihadists, but at the time, during the Cold War, American officials would have considered them freedom fighters). Between 1980 and 1983, Bin Laden made frequent trips between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, looking for ways to contribute directly to Afghan fighters. In 1983, he arrived in the Pakistan frontier town of Peshawar on the Afghan border and donated $5 million to Afghan mujahideen groups. During this period he invested another $5 million to create a pipeline for young Arabs to volunteer for the Soviet-Afghan War.

“While American college students were seeking the company of co-eds on Florida beaches, Obama was enjoying the company of wealthy Pakistanis. Another of Obama’s hosts in Pakistan was Muhammadian Mian Soomro, Obama’s senior by about 11 years, son of a Pakistani politician and himself a politician, who became interim President of Pakistan when Pervez Musharraf resigned in August of 2008. Soomro has said that “someone” personally requested that he “watch over” Barack Obama, but will not name that individual (who today allegedly lives in South America).
Somewhere along the line (not while in Pakistan), Obama also became acquainted with Khalid Al-Mansour, senior advisor to Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal of Saudi Arabia. In addition to being a financial advisor to the Saudi royal family, Al-Mansour represents OPEC – which certainly has a vested interest in a continuance of prohibitions against drilling in Alaska’s ANWR preserves and off America’s continental shelf.
One has to assume the young Obama’s trip to Pakistan may have been funded by one or more of these wealthy acquaintances, inasmuch as there seems never to have been any mention of actual jobs held by Obama. (After leaving Los Angeles, he says he arrived in New York almost penniless, spending his first night sleeping on the street.) And if he did dishes in the school cafeteria, it is unlikely such a job paid enough to cover the cost of a three week stay half-way around the world. One question that begs an answer is, “What did Obama offer his benefactors in exchange for their financial support?”
It should also be noted that Al-Mansour contacted civil rights activist (and attorney for Malcolm X) Percy Sutton, asking Sutton to write a letter of recommendation to help get Obama into Harvard Law School. Clearly wheels were spinning, but how and why is unclear. Well-connected Muslims certainly had something in mind for Barack Obama.
This info is out there folks, we have to make sure that it is read. Print it up on your home computer and put it on windsheilds if you have to! But, get the truth out! Travel to swing states and knock on doors. Get it out!

Pakistan was in turmoil in 1981 and ruled of martial law. Millions of Afghan refugees were living in Pakistan, while the Afghan Mujahedeen operated from bases inside Pakistan in their war with the Soviets. One of the leaders that based his operation in Quetta, Pakistan was Usama Bin Laden (The Sheik).
Pakistan was on the banned travel list for US Citizens at the time and all non-Muslim visitors were not welcome unless sponsored by their embassy for official business.
The would be only a few reasons a young Westerner of the Muslim faith would travel to Pakistan in 1981:
To Participate in Jihad, which is the duty of every “True Believer”.
For religious education in a Wahabbi sect, Saudi funded, Madrassa.
In order to purchase drugs from the drug marketplace.
Pakistan was not a tourist stop nor the place to hang out with someone’s family in 1981.

The mother of American Presidential hopeful, Barack Obama, Mrs. Ann Dunham lived in Pakistan for five years. During this time, Barack Obama also visited his mother and stayed for a few month. Mrs. Ann Dunham was hired as a consultant by the Asian Development Bank for Pakistan Agricultural Development Bank’s Gujranwalla Agricultural Development Program. This program began in 1987 and ended in 1992.source

From Slim guy: Who was Senator Obama’s host in Pakistan? The Friday Times broke this story in early March and revealed the host to be none other than Mian Muhammadian Soomro, the caretaker prime minister.
Obama’s background just gets curiouser and curiouser. I am still stumped as to how Dr. Al-Mansour came to mentor Barack Hussein Obama before he attended Harvard. How did Obama come to know Dr. Khalid al Mansour, Senior Advisor, HRH Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal, and where did Obama get the money for his long strange trip? For a “poor, starving, student” Obama sure had/has a collection of rich, wealthy and politically connected muslims all over the world.
