How in the world did a grand jury get it this quickly, they just served the warrant on Monday, and generally, Grand Juries serve for a week or two at a time?
Something doesn’t smell right with this story.

Something doesnt smell right with this story. I was just on grand jury for 18 weeks. We met one day a week. There were 4 other grand juries sitting for each other day of the week so this is entirely possible.

That is not correct. I was on a Federal Grand Jury and we met every other Wednesday for a whole year (yes, you heard me right, we were on the jury for a year).

In my neck of the woods (Indianapolis), grand juries are typically already seated, and serve for nearly three months (a quarter of a year). This way, should something important come up, they could quickly review evidence and decide (or not decide) to recommend an indictment.

Either the prosecutors or the the jury was just going through the motions and didn’t want to indict. Simple.
