As I understand it, this is a federal crime. Dont think Alaska has anything to do with it.I don't know Alaska law, but in theory I would think that a state would have a right to go after someone who who committed information theft against the governor. The Feds would pursue their charges, and Alaska would also have a bite at the apple if its laws allowed it.

If somebody hacked my email I'd have a hard time imagining that Pennsylvania would prosecute the case, even in a secondary sense.
I'm not a lawyer, so your guess is as good as mine.
