Of course global warming is a hoax! It says something about the gullibility and ignorance of our times that people still get taken in by something that is patently untrue... and which by definition, is not and cannot be scientifically proven!

"No one, including Gov. Sarah Palin, questions that Alaska's climate is changing more rapidly than any other state's."

I haven't heard of Gov Palin ever mentioning Alaska's climate changing. Got a link for that?

..."and she has publicly questioned scientists' near-consensus that human activity plays a role in the rising temperatures."

She is right to question this so called "near-concensus", because that is a downright LIE media keeps repeating while media refuses to give any air time at all to the MAJORITY of scientists in the scientific community who reject the claim of human caused "global warming", or that there is in fact any global warming going on at all.
Localized weather anomalies do NOT indicate "global warming" or an advancing ice age. They never have and never will.

"near-consensus"

Based on some test of statistical significance?

IIRC, she commented in the Hannity interview that she has read a lot on Reagan, Thatcher and Lincoln. I have a feeling she is an avid reader. Of course the Liberal elitists believe reading is of no benefit if you aren't sitting in one of the Ivory Towers having some pencil necked academic telling you what you have read.

“has publicly questioned scientists’ near-consensus that human activity plays a role in the rising temperatures.”

We must fight the global concern that is all of our oceans draining off the edge of the Flat Earth!!!

The big lie. Tell it often enough and it becomes established as fact. “Scientists’ near-consensus”.

And when will scientists, who are above Barack Obama’s pay grade, finally weigh in on when life begins?

...scientists' near-consensus...

Now it's a NEAR-consensus? Sounds like the hoax coalition is breaking down a bit.

Although Palin established a sub-cabinet to deal with climate change issues a year ago, she has focused on how to adapt to global warming rather than how to combat it,

Why is this a bad thing? Working on adapting to climate change is likely to be more certain of success than believing the superstitious ritual of buying carbon credits will prevent the change.

Even if they aren't elected, Sarah Palin is the future of the party...and America.

If They lose this election it will be because of McCain and his idiotic "all gods children" immigration policy among others.

If we want Sarah Palin, we have to elect McCain/Palin and look beyond McCain

Hmmm...with all that is going on...ask me if I give a crap about global warming or what causes it!

I’m tired of this election and I don’t like what’s happening to my country.

Sorry...just had to vent.

she has publicly questioned scientists' near-consensus that human activity plays a role in the rising temperatures.

Sarah is very wise to question what is alleged to be a near-consensus in the scientific community about the cause of global warming. Actually there are thousands of very well accredited scientists who do not believe that envirowhackjob malarky.

While recently waiting in a doctor's office I read a short piece taken from an article in a scientific journal saying that naturally produced water vapor makes up 97% of all greenhouse gases combined, and of the remaining 3% only about 1/10 of that 3% is man made CO2. Of that 3% of all greenhouse gases, naturally produced methane is 13 times more efficient at absorbing and retaining the sun's heat than CO2.

If those figures are anywhere near accurate it would be extremely difficult to convince me that a very small increase spread over several decades in that 1/10th of 3% of all greenhouse gasses combined is causing the polar icecaps to melt, Greenland to thaw, oceans to rise, wildlife to starve and become extinct, and bringing about a global catastrophe of an unimaginable magnitude.

However, I will admit that the global warming alarmists are very sincere in their mistaken belief, and earnestly desire to turn back the calendar to the 17th and early 18th centuries prior to the myriads of mechanical inventions and scientific discoveries in the centuries following that time period. IOW, the very same inventions and discoveries that transformed the wretchedly poor masses of the civilized western nations into modern day wage earners, business men/women, professionals of all kinds, and most despised of all by envirowhackos, the affluent consumers of goods and services who keep the modern global economy afloat.

The disconnect from reality is breathtaking....

They are still bantering the term “Global Warming”... even as records indicate this year has been among the coolest in many years. And completely ignores the trend over the last few years.... Lower temps.

Global CO2 levels are still on the increase... but temps going down... hmmm...

If Alaska has become warmer in recent years, it is only because the Governor is so hot.
