The reporter asked about incest in order to portray him as a fool. If they used an attack that wasn't patently absurd and vicious, it wouldn't portray the NY Times in such a bad light. Ironic huh?

We must have had different experiences. I found the suggestion of incest so disgusting, that I didn't find much humor in the rest of the skit. I didn't need SNL to convince me that the NYT is biased.

I saw it as a cheap shot and the rest as mostly fluff to cover it up.

But to show you I am not totally devoid of humor, I liked the part about the polar bear. But then I really like polar bears.

That makes a lot of sense and is a lot different from thinking the remark was directed at smearing Palin.
