'First Dude' Todd Palin Illustrates Alaska's Blend of Personal, Public
ANCHORAGE -- Todd Palin grew up as the archetypal Alaskan -- salmon fisherman, champion snowmobiler, North Slope oil worker. But since his wife became governor 20 months ago, his portfolio has broadened: househusband, babysitter, senior adviser, legislative liaison, and -- when the occasion warrants -- enforcer and protector

I guess they won’t comment that Michelle O is her husband most influential advisor. Not that is scary.
Thank you for posting that excerpt from the article.
I usually go read the whole article. Is it worth reading?
Because I am pretty much OK with the sentence you posted.
Anything after that must be downhill.
If only Todd could add “Community Organizer” to his resume!
Exactly what kind or ‘organizin’ did BHO do for his ‘community’?
Todd's not a girly-man like 0 is.
Walking around money, you know, ALL of those important things. His OLD mentor was Al Capone.
You mean “Mouth of Sauron”
I’ve been wondering how long the MSM would get away with this blatant bigotry toward a minority. I think their racism toward the Palins will be overlooked.
Nah -- double standard, doncha know.
In other words, these two pixies have created an imaginary "Republican" to fill out their hit piece. I've seen this "repercussions" crap a lot in these hit pieces. Hmmmmm. The liberal "media" seems to be abusing this "repercussions" technique.
You know what Wash Post men reporters must be jealous they are bunch of girline man
Todd Palin is first manly First dude of the state
The whole article is worth reading! Their description of Todd leads me to suspect that the pair of Palins are even better for America than just Sarah. I’m still looking for the dark lining in having Palin as Vice President and maybe eventually President, but all the stuff the opposition has dug up so far is yet more reason to vote for McCain/Palin. But then I’m biased against Washington’s aristrocracy of urban Democrats and RINOs.
I really don’t see much of a problem with the article. It simply suggests, without much evidence, that Todd may be too involved with things he’s not supposed to be. Whether that is true or not is really pretty much dependent on each reader’s perspective. At this point, every person contacted for a story like this is going to have an axe to grind, one way or another. Especially the liberal-leaning reporter. If this is the best they can dig up, its pretty thin gruel.
In Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, Rule 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. Its hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
Really! The Left can not believe that man like Todd Palin actually exists: manly, not afraid of his wife’s success, supportive, loving and willingly to be the prime caregiver, yet still masculine. They just can’t believe what they are seeing.
Just wanted to add that just as Sarah blow apart the feminist argument of what woman should be, Todd does the same of what a man is.
Please do, and then help me understand why its a "hit piece".
I thought it was a good article.
It has not been proven that Todd Palin is not all these things we claim. Funny, this is just like the basis of that SNL skit from yesterday.
Imagine that, SNL somehow amusing.
