These guys are celebrities whether you know them or not. The kind of snobbery from people who don't keep up with pop culture is astounding.

I'm assuming you're a "seaaoned citizen." If Franki Valli were to be in a plane crash, I'm sure you wouldn't be bitching that it isn't news although nobody under 21 would have any idea who he is.

Yeah, I’m an old fart.

And my tastes run more to Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms. You know — or perhaps not — the stuff they will STILL be playing 300 years from now.

(That should be your cue to come back with “WHO?” some of whose music I do appreciate.)

It is a shame that foul-mouthed punk rapsters can become celebrities. It is also a double shame that these punks are stirring up the 'hood' to vote for Obama. Have you heard of the Wild Ones?
