The quotes were from Schumer and Dodd, both of whom have large constituencies based on Wall Street ... those constituents lose their jobs/income, the Senators’ states lose tax revenues.
What they should be doing is trooping off to the the tv cameras to hold a huge press conference where they apologize to the country for their actions which created this mess. They should then all resign.
Because the left are adolescents who doesn’t think any of this will actually affect them.
That’s why they can root for islamists, because they don’t think we could actually lose to them, so it’s just a foil to play their childish political games.
If we actually did lose, the day the islamist shows up at their front door they’ll be “somber” again.
Sometimes I wish we would lose just so they’d get what they have been working toward.
But only sometimes, the rest of the time I am assured that eventually God’s justice makes sure we all get what we work toward.
