In that same "debate," McCain told Tim Russert that he was really well versed on economics, having been chairman of the Senate Banking Committee.
I'd rather have as president someone who knows something of what was once (i.e., last week) called "free-market economics" than someone whose economic education came from bankers and lawyers.
This will be another election where my wants will not be met. Nothing new.
