Obama is waiting to see what transpires before he will say anything.
The Friends said that Barry is waiting to hear what Paulson says later in his address before he makes any further statements...figures.

McCain “No accountability in Washington” We need regulatory clarity with one standard.

I notice on the CNN feed, in the “coming up” bubble, they refer to President Bush as “Bush” but Barry as “Sen. Obama”. Disrespectful bastids.

McCain still needs to prove himself. I want him to place the blame where it belongs rather than simply blaming Wall Street and the mortgage companies. Unfortunately, I don't think he will do this. He was my Senator when he first came on the political scene, but then he morphed from a conservative into a DC quasi-liberal on too many important issues. I wasn't going to vote for him, but Obama made voting for McCain a necessity.
But then McCain went and did something unexpected choosing Palin to be his VP. Now, I'm voting for him and Sarah, rather than just voting against Obama, but I want to see that earlier version of McCain again, the one who first inspired me to vote for him way back when.

forget the scandal...he doesnt understand the world of finance and the economyneither does McCain. The SEC is not responsible for bad mortgages.

Perhaps, but he needs to do it in a FAR, FAR more dramatic way if he wants to get the attention of the Obama-worshipping MSM.
He needs to be running commercials on this, with Pelosi’s “Most Ethical Congress, EVER!!” remarks tied with it, naming names, and showing faces....

What am I going to do in that voting booth?? I suggest you realize that we all have responsibilities to each other -- especially when we manage their investments and when we oversee the behavior of others.
"Populism?" Real Americanism and morality.

meanwhile Obama is wondering what the heck is AIG?
And his campaign got it wrong, too...calling it American Insurance Group.

I think they need to come out with an ad TODAY before Obama has a chance to comment on the economy and show that McCain has solutions and Obama is just waiting and waiting and waiting to see what everyone else will do.
To: Neverforget01
that is something you can debate him on.

What am I going to do in that voting booth??Understand and can appreciate some of those concerns. Having said that, the ONLY thing to do in that booth IMO is vote for McCain-Palin because even the thought of that dangrous socialist Obama being in the White House makes me want to protect the Republic. And quite frankly I think Palin is truly great, and you have to believe that she could help mold some of John's opinions on things given that she will so supported by the Republican base and has a great way of presenting her case.
