“Your in-laws are poopyheads”
is not a credible smear.

It makes all who read it think
“wow, if this is all they can find on her then she must be awfully clean”

Frankly, I hope they keep it up. Remember, it's mostly women who read the Enquirer. Some, of course will vote Democrat, regardless, but some are just Moms who pick it up at their supermarket, while they're standing in the check-out line. They'll realize that Sarah has been on the cover for a couple of weeks now, and I think they'll start getting the idea that someone has it out for her, and start wondering why.

I'm thinking this is gonna backfire, big time, especially since these stories are not about Sarah, they're about her in-laws, or members of her own family. I don't remember anyone refusing to support Jimmah, because his brother was a beer-swillin redneck. Folks will support Sarah, or not, and what her family does won't have any bearing on it. But there just may be some women, who might not have voted for a while, who may vote for the Republican ticket because they're angry at how Sarah is being treated in the press.

Gee Jimmy Carter wasn’t held accountable for that “delightful idiot” brother Billy. Oh never mind Carter is a Democrat. Enquirer does always does such good stories like the man who cut his own head off with chain saw and lived to tell about it.

New slogan-— I would rather be hit by Palin’s brother-in-law than ride with Ted Kennedy

Funny, I don’t see a single reference to Todd Palin nor his wife Sarah being involved in any way with any of these stories. Oh, other than they are relatives of these people.

Guilt by family tree?

Guess they’ll be trotting out the story about Dubya’s DUI of long ago and the First Lady’s fatal car accident as a teenage now, too?

I mean, Obama IS running against President Bush! (Shhhh...let him keep thinking that!)

The publishers of this garbage wrapper, couldn’t stand up to an investigation of the background of their immediate family much less in-laws.

Guilt by family tree?

Plenty of folks have in-laws or cousin's husbands who screwed up and maybe spent some time in jail. But those people are not running for election.

Plenty of White folks have a relative who married or had a kid with a Black person, which makes the racial hate thing even more amusing...

This article is nonsense. While Hillary wants B. Hussein to lose, she has a fit over Sarah Palin stealing attention away from her. Palin is not responsible for what relatives outside her family unit do. Hillary's hubby sold or gave pardons to Mark Rich, a pedophile, drug dealers, and terrorists. Most people have a black sheep in the family.

>We should do checks on them all and release the data online for all to see their past indiscretions, arrests, etc.<

All it takes is money. How much cash can you get your hands on?

Laura Bush killed a classmate in a car collision. Whoopity-do. Accidents happen.

Joseph P. Kennedy II was the driver in an accident that left a girl crippled for life.

If the Enquirer wants to run stories on candidate's relatives, how about something like, "Obama's brother lives in abject poverty in hut"?

If they want to talk about this man’s substance abuse, how about Obamas cocaine and marijuana abuse?
