Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois today exhorted his supporters to get extremely aggressive in their communities to persuade their neighbors to vote for Obama in November.
Speaking to a crowd in Elko, Nevada, Obama was quoted by the AP as urging the people to be his 'ambassadors':
"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.
"And if they tell you that, 'Well, we're not sure where he stands on guns.' I want you to say, 'He believes in the Second Amendment.' If they tell you, 'Well, he's going to raise your taxes,' you say, 'No, he's not, he's going lower them.' You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case."
Obama has campaigned as a uniter. One can't help but wonder how neighbors will react to people getting up in their faces arguing to them to vote for Obama and how many friendships will be ruined by Obama this fall.

By the way he has ordered his people apply more aggression and get in people’s face... and the report we heard about him coercing the Prime Minster of Iraq in stalling already agreements and negotiations of troop with draws ...... I would say he is planning a political coup.

Oh man, this Obama is a nut-case! All the time, he’s been saying “We need to get the troops out of Iraq as soon as possible, since we’re never going to win this War on Terror.” He didn’t care if we left there before the mission was completed or not. Now all of a sudden, it will fit his future legacy better, if he manipulates it so that the troops aren’t drawn out of Iraq until he assumes power as President of the United States.
Why aren’t his anti-war followers voicing outrage at this new development?
Well, we know it’s never been about the family back home worrying about their loved one coming back from Iraq in a casket. No. It’s always been about Obama gaining power, and gaining a legacy.
Mister Obama, you aren’t ever going to gain a legacy, because you have built yourself upon shifting sands. When the winds of change come blowing, your power will be gone with the wind.

Absolutely right. You said it well. If it wasn’t that Obama was such a horrible candidate he would have beaten Hillary sooner and not stretched out...she beat him in so many states because voters were confused and unsure. Now with a sharp woman VP (thank God) we are going to have a real chance of America giving the Republican candidate another chance, but you cannot blame “them” for not moving too quickly. It will happen..it will...but it’s going to be a battle. We will win the WAR!! And “they” will be making movies about this and how it happened.It will go into our history books as...a Miracle. But, it will happen. Hang in there!!!
