I don’t know, but in reading the documentation, it does seem that the trooper should have been gone LONG ago. Gov. Palin might have believed a bit of hearsay that supported her sister, but the bottom line is that the trooper should be facing charges now, for such things as illegal hunting, etc., regardless of the spousal accusations.

Here’s the deal, the trooper was treated like any other trooper, and he was suspended for a few days.
