I'm not advocating any particular religion with this post. I'm not Catholic, however, members of my extended family are. I found this video today and my reason for posting it is because I think it is (as the original poster states) "inspirational". Part of me wishes I was an American so I could vote for McCain/Palin in November. Thankfully I'll be able to vote to re-elect our Conservative Prime Minister and his Party here in Canada in October.

Unfortunately, in the US, if the Catholics advocate voting traditional values, then it is an unwarrented intrusion of the church into politics.
But if it advocates secular progressive values, then it is just “free speech”.
PC will be the death of the US yet. And we will have brought it about upon ourselves, because we have become too weak and wishy-washy to stand up like a man and say “THIS, I BELIEVE TO BE RIGHT!!!”

Just watched the video, Canucky. Very though-provoking and well-done.

I was catching up with an old friend, a very devout catholic this last weekend. We chatted for a while and asked if her and her hubby wanted to go sailing. She complained of being too tired from working so we continued chatting.
I started going on about politics and Sarah Palin assuming she was a republican. Come to find out the work she was doing causing the tiredness was from volunteering for the Odumbo campaign. She then launched into a tirade about Palin with the gusto of Keith Olberman or someone out of hollywierd.
I know she was pro-life and still can’t fathom how she’s throwing her support for someone so opposite.
I thought about sending her this video but from what I was gathering during our conversation was that she had swallowed the MSM BS hook,, line, and sinker, ranting like a full blown moonbat.
She’d watch the video and take away from it the following.
The video showed JFK and MLK. A democrat and a black man. At the end of the video showing someone casting a ballot they showed a “Democratic ballot”.
Th subliminal message being sent was to cast a democratic ballot for a black man, Obama and thereby only supporting her choice.
John warned in his letter to the church of Laodicea in the book of Revelation 3:16 So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
I see todays catholic church as being the church of Laodicea.

Catholics in the U. S. and all over the world are getting the message from the Pope that supporting abortion candidates is basically excommunicating yourself from the Church. If a Catholic is voting dimocrat with a big abortion plank in their platform -- then they are supporting abortion.
The Catholic Church has spoken out on abortion for years, perhaps you are not familiar that all life is viewed as precious.

Many Catholic Bishops, Archbishops and Cardinals have spoken out against the stand that Pelosi, Biden, Kennedy, Kerry et al have taken. Have you seen this? I really don't think you can call the Catholic Church is not lukewarm at all. Black and white all the way -- in fact -- isn't it the Catholic Church that has stood staunchly against abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research for ages? BTW -- did you know that McCain no longer support embryonic stem cell research?
Take a look at what these prelates have said. They apply to your friends and acquaintances and YOU, too, if you are A CINO. (Please pass this list on to your friend.

Notes:
-
Previous #23 has been removed. Bishop Joseph Gossman of Raleigh, NC is actually the bishop emeritus, and the new bishop, Michael Burbidge has not, to my knowledge, made a personal statement.
-
Previous #16 has also been removed, it was an erroneous duplication of current #13.
-
#26 was added September 10th, although he published his column September 6th

You’re friend is at the very least ignorant of Obama’s circle of radical abortionists, or at the most, a fake Catholic.
I spend 2 hours in front of an abortion clinic each saturday morning. Lot’s of Obama bumper stickers. Ask her to attend a prayer vigil in front of an abortion clinic. If she agrees, it would be a very interesting example of congnitive dissonance in the making.

I’m not Catholic, but for the life of me I don’t see how Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi can continue to take communion.
I might could understand if they were simply just pro choice, but they are radical pro abortionist who can’t even bring themselves to vote against partial birth abortion.
How they can stand before a priest for communion is just beyond me?
