"I'm just tired of their crap."

Not as much as I am.

Do not watch them.

Do not purchase from their advertizers

Stick your head out of the window and scream: “I’m mad as hell and I won’t take it anymore”.

There is a palpable antagonistic air to so much of the media, whether in the news magazines or on the evening news or the weekend talk shows. It is clear they neither like nor trust the American people.

Nice rant, but at least half or more of the US population don’t watch or listen to news. They have no idea as to current events. They are too absorbed in other activities.

--totally gave up on nutwork news some years ago when one of the talking network heads revealed the astounding information that restaurants purchase meat (steaks) at wholesale and sell it to you at retail--this was followed by a local (Las Vegas)edition which featured a large(snicker, giggle) segment on sports bras.

--I get all my "news" from assorted internet sources--most notably, this one--

He’s right. I turned my TV off years ago. I only use it to see the debates and rare programs that interest me. These people aren’t newsmen, they are propagandists.

Don’t watch any Drive-by media or their programming. They live and die on ratings.

"tell the story"

Until they stop telling stories and start reporting facts, they will continue to have no cred.

BOR is in his own Reality Distortion Zone, not a no spin zone.

I hate boycotts, but it would take an organized nationwide boycott of media advertisers to get anything done.

The more bleak it appears for Obama, the more they will stretch. Just like Dan Rather in ‘04, someone will get so carried away, it will cost them their career.

Who will it be?

I gave up on network news many, many years ago.

I use to watch Fox News to some degree but that’s faded to zero.

The only time I tune into Fox News or CNN now is when a disaster has happened...

Otherwise I get my news on the Web, primarily here.

Just as real reporting would have discovered -- while commentators opined on a Democrat "Dream Team" -- that Barack Obama had neither met with nor vetted Hillary Clinton.

This morning I heard a clip of "TheOne" telling someone that Hillary was obviously high on his list. I doubt anyone will point out this most recent lie.

The anchors are competitive and insecure.
Start writing to the program directors and station managers and complain about it. Loudly. With advertising threats.
I know local news programs are more apt to change than national, and it’s a start. Not enough competition to keep all of the local stations in business, so give your business to those who eliminate the “anchors as analysts” model.

No, they need to physically attack Sarah Palin. A Charlie Gibson tackle would seal the deal.

I have not watched MSM news for so long that I can’t remember when I saw them last. FOX included.
In passing, looking for old movies or anything on the TV, I catch a very brief glimpse of them... it is more like a carnival scenario every time I see them.
The other day, my mother and I blasted through the channels to find a movie and saw one of the FOX ‘news’ programs. We both said, simultaneously “...could she get her dress any shorter?” I don’t know who she was or what she was talking about... but her credibility and GRAVITAS were about minus zero. We went for the old movie, instead.
Never mind that these people talk like everyone in the world is 11 years old or that they insist on passing themselves off as professionals when they look like carnival act stars and speak like the guy who collects my trash... they have NO clue about how the world works or how to present themselves or their message professionally.
