I remember in '87 my economics teacher in high school talking about how we were headed to a depression after that time's crash.

If the economy can still grow despite rabid oil, energy, and steel hikes, I think we'll be okay before long.

absolutely right!...most of us wouldn’t last a month...I’ve got a 7 figure worth in investments and they don’t mean crap....they’re just monthly statements from banks/brokers...scraps of paper...we keep $5000 in cash/silver on hand but how long would that last?...not very....the dominos are starting to fall now...and it will be very ugly before it’s over.

Yep, most Americans back then had no credit cards, no auto loans etc. IT's going to get nasty before it get's better.
