This has nothing to do with the presidential race. This is the continuing bank meltdown. Lehman Brothers is going away, AIG is in trouble. Some serious economic underpinnings are in very bad shape right now.

You can thank "free trade" for the deregulation of the system to favor the global economy. Everybody in the world has been looting America's domestic economy for the sake of a global centrally controlled economy, and this is the result.
