He preached and taught, healed the sick and raised the dead. He told them of the good news. He claimed to be the Son of God and the Son of Man. He was concerned with the afterlife, and hardly concerned at all about present politics, government etc. He did say pay your taxes and obey the government as much as you can.

Pontius Pilate would have been an apointee of the Roman Caesar or whatever his underlings were called, not an elected governor. So the comparison is not analogous to Sarah.
It's getting absurd. They started it. Neither McCain nor Sarah mentioned any scriptures or religion in the positions as nominees that I can recall. Obama has brought it up a few times with his version.
